  • ANCIENT GLUTEN FREE FLOUR: Fonio is an ancient gluten free flour, made from 100% ground Fonio grain. It has a rich, mild nutty flavour and is finely ground for your baking needs.
  • VERSATILE: Fonio flour can be used as a delicious replacement for gluten based flours like wheat flour for baking, pancakes, thickening sauces and more. Swap 1 cup white flour with ¾ cup fonio flour. For Pancakes: ¾ cup fonio flour + 2 mashed ripe bananas + 1 egg + ½ tsp baking soda (optional) – mix the batter with a little water or milk, and fry on low heat till brown on both sides.
  • NUTRIENT DENSE: Fonio flour is nutrient rich, packing higher nutrients like iron, calcium and protein, sulfur-containing plant based amino acids, when compared to other flours.
