The preparation process is also very simple and stress-free. This recipe makes 10 to 12 medium cookies

Oatmeal is a whole grain food packed with lots of nutrients. It is rich in dietary fibre which is great for weight loss, blood sugar management, heart health amongst others. This makes it a wholesome flour for baking. Read more about oatmeal here

For this recipe, we used gluten free rolled oats. You can blend it up roughly if you before baking, if you wish.

Ingredients

Note: Tbsp = Tablespoon, Tsp = Teaspoon

Coconut oil works as a replacement for peanut butter especially if you have nut allergies

How to Make

  • Mash the banana, add the peanut butter and other dry ingredients
  • Mix all the ingredients thoroughly
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper and scoop batter with a tablespoon or scoop onto the pan
  • Flatten the batter into a round cookie shape with a fork
  • Add to the oven and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Add cookies to a baking rack and let it cool
